I already wrote about the competition for which I built this project: https://blog.squadron.earth/day-pi-in-alt-04-18-2024
I created this installation for a scientific competition in physics. It runs on electricity, purifies water using the distillation method (molecules of pure water evaporate at a temperature of 70 to 100 degrees, then cool in a refrigerator, condense and collect in another container for pure water).
With this project, my teammates Maria, Alex and Daniil and we won a prize at "Pi Day" in ALT last semester, and also won a cash certificate (50,000 tenge for four, it was nice).
Now I invent the next version, it will be more autonomous and effective. I want to use low-temperature of the dirty water to divide pure H2O moleculas and cut "heads" and "tails" in the start and in the end of the desalination process.
